Appendix 1: Spotlight on 21st Century Literacies and Project Skills
The following pages provide a look at some common areas of focus for contextual learning projects, including “literacies” such as environmental literacy or media literacy and some essential skills such as creative and critical thinking, writing and data analysis. Project examples are provided for each skill area, including classroom, community and workplace experiences.
